"We will not fail"
WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 - President Bush pledged Sunday that the
United States "will rid the world of evildoers." He told
Americans, who begin a new week in the aftermath of
Tuesdayıs terrorist attacks: "Tomorrow when you get back to
work, work hard like you always have."

President Bush: "We are at war."

Bush said those who carried out the attacks on "buildings filled with innocent people" in New York and Washington "have declared war on America. They've made a terrible mistake."

"My message is for everyone who wears the uniform, get ready" --- President Bush

Responding to bin Laden denying a role in the attacks against the WTC--
"No question, he is the primesuspect. No question about that," Bush said.

Bush says,
"I gave our military the orders necessary to protect Americans. Of course,
that was difficult," he said. "Never did I dream we would be under attack this way."

Bush stated the prime goal of his administration: "Find them, get them running
and hunt them down."

"They hit and run, they hide in caves. We'll get them out," he added.
